What age is best for a 'newborn' photo shoot?

‘Newborn’ Photo Shoots - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire & The Cotswolds

I’m often asked this question - how old should my baby be for their newborn photo shoot? And you might think it’s obvious - newborn means a few weeks old right? Well, not necessarily!

As I don’t pose or wrap the baby for the photographs, there actually is no time limitations or requirement, it is totally up to you!

So I thought I’d share some photos from this beautiful photo session here in Cheltenham with a 3 month old baby. She was awake for the whole session and full of smiles and giggles which was lovely to capture…

Just because the baby is older, doesn’t mean we need to miss out on those little details which are so precious…

And I absolutely loved using the different parts of this lovely family’s home…

So there is no ‘right’ age - it’s all about the time that works for you as a family and the age that you would like captured forever in beautiful photographs.

So if you’re based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire or The Cotswolds and are looking for beautiful photographs of your new baby, get in touch here and we can work out the best time for you and your family
