Cheltenham Family, Newborn & Couples photographer ~ looking for the perfect Valentine's Gift for 2021?
As a Cheltenham Newborn and Family Photographer, my work is crammed full with photos of tiny baby toes; children playing; families laughing together. And I love it!
But there is another favourite kind of photo for me: two people in love. Two people who might just be starting out on their journey together; or two people who last had a photo together on their wedding day before being parents took over.
Whichever it is, the chance to photograph the connection between two people as they relax in the other’s company makes me so happy!
Couples’ Photo Sessions
I promise, these are not as cheesy as they sound! Or as indulgent. Just as with my family photography, we can go to a beautiful setting in The Cotswolds or to your own home and I will give some gentle guidance as to how to stand and what to do but other than that, I’m just there to capture you and your love, exactly as you are.
It could be for an engagement session or a unique Valentine’s Gift or just because you don’t want your entire relationship to be captured by selfies alone!

Within a Family Session
As a Cheltenham family photographer, I always get in touch with my families before their photo session. And one of the things I always ask is if there is anything particular they would like be to try and capture in a photograph. More often than not it involves their child’s freckles; their toddlers cheeky grin…very rarely does anyone ask for a photo with their other half!
And yet, I will always try my very best to do it.
Like I said at the start, often the last time you were photographed together was at your wedding and I absolutely love to capture the love and companionship which is at the heart of your family.
Afterall, before the story of you as a family; there was the story of just you two.

With Valentine’s Day being a little different this year thanks to Covid, why not look for a slightly different kind of Valentine’s gift? Flowers and chocolates are lovely but they last a week or so (make that a day for the chocolates!); whereas photographs last a lifetime.
